Learn the basics of caring for indoor plants. Whether you are a first-time plant owner or are looking to expand your knowledge of your existing collection, this Virtual Houseplants 101 class will give you the know-how for improving the life of your indoor plants.
Environmental factors, plant identification, and general care techniques will be discussed.
The virtual 1-hour lecture will include a Q&A section, but you may also email any questions in advance of the class to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Participants will receive an email and link with details for joining the class 2 days before the class session.
Tassy de Give is a plant enthusiast and instructor who has worked in the horticulture field for the past 15 years. She is a former co-owner of Sprout Home Brooklyn and is the Plant Director for Geometry Gardens and Glasswing Greenhouse. In 2015, she co-wrote her first book Rooted in Design. Tassy has been a featured guest/writer for ABC's The Chew, Martha Stewart Living Radio Show, and Elle Magazine. She currently teaches horticulture at the University of Washington’s Botanic Gardens.
