Having home-grown elements in your cooking repertoire can completely transform a meal. In this workshop, we'll show you how to grow fresh herbs, fruits, and vegetables in your indoor or outdoor garden. Participants will learn the importance of composting and soil health to create your own thriving container garden that you plant and take home.
Instructor Bio
This course is taught by Leah McMillan. Leah is a gardener at Domino Park and the caretaker of edible gardens both at home and work. She has worked at small scale farms in Delaware, the Bay Area, and Hawaii and has previously taught Soil Science at UC Berkeley.
