Terrariums are not only a beautiful way to display your plants they are also a living ecosystem and a lesson in taking care of and appreciating nature indoors. In this class, participants will be guided by our in-house plant experts on the history of terrariums, how to construct a terrarium, and the best way to care for it.
Instructor Bio
Tassy de Give has worked in the horticulture field for the past 20 years. She is a co-owner of Geometry Gardens and the Plant Director for Glasswing Greenhouse in Seattle, WA. In 2015, she co-wrote her first book Rooted in Design. She is currently working on her second book and teaches horticulture at the University of Washington’s Botanic Gardens.
