Mindful Flowers: A Meditation with Nature
Wednesday, July 29th | 7 – 8:30PM

🌸 44 Grand Street, Brooklyn, NY 11249

Instructors: Amanda Hemminger + Catherine Morrison

Course Overview
This 90-minute class invites participants into a quiet, contemplative practice of arranging flowers as a form of meditation. Rooted in principles inspired by Japanese floral philosophy—where spirit exists in all things—we explore how to slow down, observe, and respond to natural materials.

Through breathwork, guided awareness, and hands-on creation, participants will learn to build a simple, sculptural arrangement using branches, foliage, and seasonal flowers. Emphasis is placed on asymmetry, space, balance, and natural movement—creating compositions that feel alive rather than controlled.

Blending mindfulness and floral design, this class offers a grounding, creative experience that encourages a deeper connection to nature and self.
