These handmade ceramic planters are thrown on a potter's wheel with tan speckled stoneware clay. The interiors are left unglazed, the outside carved patterns are inlaid with a white matte glaze and the shapes are glazed with a satin charcoal glaze. Some of the clay is left exposed to highlight the beauty of the fired clay and create a variety of texture between glazed and unglazed surfaces. All planters include a drainage hole and a plate to catch the water drips. Plates are not meant to hold water for soaking plants but to protect your surfaces from any small drips.
